Who benefits?

The scheme provides benefits to all pregnant women belonging to families below the poverty line (with BPL card), Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe families. Beneficiaries who have BPL If the card is not available, a certificate of income has to be obtained from the Talati-cum-Minister, Sarpanch, Mamlatdar, Chief Officer of their area.

Where to get benefits

This benefit will be provided by the female health worker (concerned area).


Method for availing the benefits of the scheme

For assistance under this scheme, the female health worker will have to fill up a form along with BPL. Proof of having a card or proof of income must be attached.

Assistance / benefits under the scheme

Under this scheme, Rs.700 / - will be paid to the beneficiary in rural area as well as Rs.600 / - in urban area during the last three months of pregnancy to meet the cost of nutritious food, medicine during delivery or any other expenses or any other expenses.
