Who benefits?

All farmers owners of farmland in individual / joint name who farm as owners.

Tenant farmers, oral office bearers and sharecroppers.

Farmers Joint Responsibility Groups (JLGs).

How much benefit

This credit facility is sanctioned for 5 years.

Kharif loan and ravi loan as well as long term crop loan for long term crop are available at the rate per hectare fixed by the Government according to area and crop.

Crop loans taken up to the limit of Rs. 3 lakhs are given at zero per cent interest rate, i.e. interest subsidy is received from the Government at the rate of 7 per cent. To get this subsidy, the loan has to be repaid before the due date.

Farmers can buy seeds, fertilizers and pesticides as per their choice.

Rupee card facility is provided in Kisan Credit Card.


Where to get benefits

Implemented by public sector commercial banks, private banks and co-operative banks.

What evidence is required:

Application form.

Proof of identity - copy of Aadhar card, PAN card, voter identity card, driving license.

Proof of residency - Aadhaar card, voter ID card, electric ofla, elas szr.

Evidence of ownership of agricultural land - 7/12, 8-A as well as Form 6 etc.
