Who benefits?

Every savings account holder who is between the ages of 18 to 70 years can join this scheme.

• Annual Premium Rs.12 (Rupees Twelve) Premium is reimbursed through Auto Debit System.

Filling the form only once.

Where to get benefits

Available from Public Sector Banks, Private Banks, Cooperative Banks as well as Grameen Banks.


How much benefit?

In case of accidental death the heir gets compensation of Rs.2.00 lakh (Rs.2 lakh).

If any one of the vital organs of the body is permanently damaged, 50% amount i.e. Rs. 1.00 lakh (one lakh) is compensated. That is, in case of permanent loss of one arm or one leg or one eye due to an accident, compensation of Rs. One lakh is given.

Terms

This scheme has auto debit system so it is necessary to have balance in the account at the time of debit. (Usually auto debited in the last week of May).

The term of the scheme is from June 1 to May 31.

What evidence is required?

Only bank account (savings account) passbook.

What do I need to claim?

Copy of Police FIR as protection is provided only against accidental death, Copy of Punchnama.
