In order that the physical and mental development of the students in the primary, secondary and higher secondary schools of the state can take place properly and interest in yoga, physical education and sports can increase and the students of Gujarat can achieve significant achievements by representing maximum numbers in the national sports competitions held in the future. , to prepare the students studying in secondary and higher secondary schools for sports and sports, on the basis of contract based 'Khel Sahachar Yojana' with high honorarium and decided to implement the Education Department Resolution No. PRE-112023- Prashini-28- K (Part) dated 10/03/2023 came. Under this resolution the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar is authorized to conduct the 'Sports Aptitude Test' (SAT) required to obtain the necessary qualifications for appointment of sports assistants in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools.
The State Examination Board, Gandhinagar publishes notification regarding the conduct of “Sports Aptitude Test (SAT) - 2013” for the prescribed eligibility candidates for the appointment of Sports Assistant in Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools. The conduct of this examination is decided under the management of the State Examination Board. It will be done through the District Education Officers in the affected districts.
Educational Qualification
Only candidates who fulfill the educational qualification and other conditions prescribed by the original resolution for the appointment of sports assistants in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools can appear in the “Sports Aptitude Test (SRT)”. The original resolution has prescribed the following educational qualifications for appearing in the Sadar examination.
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University and C.P.Ed./ D.P.Ed. / BPEd. Etc
Age Limit:
The age limit prescribed by the original resolution for the appointment of sports assistant in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools is 35 years or below 35 years.
The details of educational qualification and age limit will be verified by the Recruitment Selection Committee and the decision of the Recruitment Selection Committee will be final. The State Examination Board will give opportunity to all candidates who have paid the fee to appear in the examination, therefore passing the examination cannot be claimed to qualify for recruitment. The decision taken by the recruitment committee of the concerned office will be final

The pattern of this examination and other instructions shall be subject to the resolutions, instructions and provisions of the Government from time to time before the examination.
