Broker Withdrawal Issues (over $95,000 USD in deposits)

Hi everyone,

I need urgent advice regarding my withdrawal issue with Exness. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Over the past 3 months, I have deposited a total of approx. $95,000 USD (yes, I know, I should have been more cautious). I trade small lot sizes and have made a modest 4% profit, managing my risk carefully.

The Problem:

  1. On February 22nd, I needed to withdraw my funds and submitted a request. It was rejected, with Exness hinting that my trading volume was too low.
  2. In desperation, I traded 10x larger lot sizes over the last 3 days just to see if that would allow me to withdraw (see attached)
  3. After multiple emails demanding my money, they finally approved my first withdrawal of 600,000 THB (~$17,000 USD).
  4. BUT my second withdrawal request was REJECTED again, and I suspect it抯 the trading volume requirement all over again!

I have emailed them again, demanding an explanation and the immediate release of my funds, but as of now, I am still waiting for their response.

Is This a Red Flag?
Is this normal behavior for a broker, or does this indicate a scam-like practice? I feel like Exness is holding my funds hostage, forcing me to trade more before they allow withdrawals.

Has anyone else had similar issues with Exness? What should I do, should I escalate it to regulators and other authorities ?

Thank you for reading and any help and guidance is very much appreciated.

It's a stalling tactic or an attempt to get you to trade more, expecting you to lose more. Imagine Binance asking you to trade more before you can withdraw your money. I would say check reviews on Forex Peace Army before you decide to deposit money with a broker. Most brokers are B-Book brokers, so be wise about where you put your money.
Hi there,
As someone working at a leading ASIC-regulated CFD broker here in Australia, I抎 like to shed some light on this issue for you.
What you抮e experiencing is highly irregular. Reputable brokers should not impose trading volume requirements for withdrawals ?this is not a standard or acceptable practice under proper regulatory frameworks.
On our platform TMGM, for example, all deposit and withdrawal requirements are clearly stated on the client portal. To give you an idea:

  1. USDT: Minimum deposit is $50 USD, maximum is $200,000 USD per transaction.
  2. Skrill / Neteller: Minimum per transaction is $100 USD.
  3. And again, there are no volume-based restrictions for withdrawals ?you can request your funds at any time.

If you're looking for a trustworthy and transparent alternative, feel free to reach out.

If you can, I suggest you contact your account manager for the fastest solution. Also, there are some brokers who will have volume requirements due to anti-money laundering laws.
Hi I faced the same problem but it was saying I have to deposit before I can withdraw.
they chase out the successful traders
That抯 a serious amount of capital. First, stay calm and stop increasing lot sizes just to 搖nlock?withdrawals ?that抯 dangerous.
A legitimate broker should not require extra trading volume to process withdrawals unless it抯 tied to a bonus agreement. If there was no bonus, volume requirements are a red flag.
Since this involves Exness, immediately:

  1. Re-check your client agreement for any volume clause.
  2. File a formal written complaint through their official channel.
  3. If unresolved, escalate to their regulator listed under your account entity.
