Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is still possible to live in the US somewhere but use a foreign broker with 500:1 leverage and foreign rules?

Please for the love of sanity do not open nor trade an acct with 500-1 leverage. Like most I was upset when the cftc and nfa lowered the leverage in the US to 50-1. However, after trading on it the last 2 months, I realize its not so bad. First - 50-1 is still a ton of leverage and secondly, i have been trading more careful and with a more conservative approach which has caused my trading results to drasticlly approve.

May be the trading system is greatly different, I need at least 1:500 leverage to full use of my system.
1:500 ,at least you have the freedom to choose 1:50

Everyone here needs to speak for themselves. I don't need Barney Frank trying to save me from myself. He CLEARLY has his own issues to clean up, let alone him worrying about my trading style.

I bet Dodd and Frank don't even know what a pip is.

Just got a new letter saying after july 17 my accounts will close in CH. DFA.
Now i need to show foreign residency. What a pain.
