successful trader without stop loss?

I trade without SL or TP. I think both are useless.
I am the only one SL or TP.
Only way to trade without SL or TP is with long-term trading, i.e. investing.

Stick with your fixed ideas, no problem.
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

What do you mean? Do you use leverage? If you don't use sl what happens when the price goes suddenly against you? call margin?

Yes, I use leverage.
I trade with enough margin to cover my trade.

So you can predict the market precisely and know how far market goes against you? You probably have 100% winrate and never close your trades in loss. Am I right?

I think you are a little ironic. But it is ok- you don't know me.
You may see some of my "work" here:

Only live calls. All without SL. You may count them- how much are winning and how much are loosing trades. Then can calculate my winning rate.

That is not how I trade, just adding my insight if one had to do without SL or TP then it would be when investing.

I am a beginner trader still back testing and demo trading, yet to make any real profit (not in negative), so no I have not succumb to bad habits

Sorry that I don't know you and it's good that you post live trades and sorry that i don't have time to go through all your trades to calculate your winrate. Of course there are way better ways than me going through your trades such as a live myfxbook account fully verified and in a reputable broker. Anyway no need for that bc I know how capable a trader is when they say i don't use sl. Of course I don't think you mean you don't close your trades at all (that would be stupid). I think you mean you don't place a static sl on your platform and you close trades whenever you think you should.

Anyway, if someone doesn't know when to exit either with profit or loss before opening a trade he's not even know what he's doing.
I take a look at some threads. People setting position for tonight- for FOMC. They put SL, but they put it too tight. Probably, price will hit their SL's and then will move in their direction without them. Read threads after FOMC and you will see.
Just another example why I do not not use SL.
I was trading Live when 9-11 occurred and will never forgot what the market did, I will ALWAYS have some form of stoploss.
A freak event that wont ever happen ever again??? Not going to bet my account on it, thats for sure.
Im only here for the Guzzoline...
I don抰 know a single trader who doesn抰 use a stop loss order. It抯 a fundamental risk management tool that I think everybody should use in order to prevent excessive risk towards their trading balance. It may play out for you, but only shortly, because there are so many moments in trading when you open a trade and it goes against you in a few seconds. I remember entering a trade and it just tanked right away because of the sudden Trump tweet.

And you know what? I set my TP and SL orders before entering, but still, the slippage was crazy and I had a big loss that day. As you can understand, there are scenarios you can抰 control, and stop loss helps you to stay guarded.

On the other hand, if you are an investor and buy quality stocks & indices for years probably you wouldn抰 need to use stop loss. Those assets don抰 drop 50% in a day, it抯 very unlikely.
