.. see longer view as well. First you have the direction down and after a while buyers and seller are not aware anymore about the calm building. A massive drop was the result. This lead often to the ground for an upcoming new direction if such massive outbreaks both down or up games in game. If you are able to catch it early you can achieve a high risk/reward trade. Be not afraid if initial trades going in loss. Think about if you are early in right direction and you keep on the trade for touching the other border this trade will eliminate easy some losses you take in the first attempts.

.. see this. I have picked a example from hourly how things are build. First you have a calm rotation up. Buyer and seller are happy with price direction as it is. But what happens? You got a massive push up. If you time your entry in this situation and anticipate the new upcoming direction early you can got a real nice risk/reward as this was able in this study. Price drops and building a new direction. Buyer and seller again happy with direction as long as you got the massive drop. This is the time for take the profit. As you can see we got a great return of investment. You must have the clear focus not to early go in trades and take profit as late as the situation gives you. See the price moving outside the low trendline in the third picture.
Edit: If things are with speed going outside the direction you are watching in, what you think is the case for buyer and seller doing it? They doing the job on a higher timeframe.

... i got after one losing trade my entry on the candle with the fourth arrow. See picture for the story about this trade. You can easy see why price turned up again. Timing is all in trading high risk/reward trades. Get the main direction first and trade if you have it clear!

Thanks to the 2b pattern you are able to trade such great trade!
Look for some area price are about to retest (left side of my chart) and watch what is price doing in situation around building the 2b pattern (right side). Reaction on the wide spread ema (20, 50) are short bounce off, before reaching a slightly higher or lower price. Sometime direct on ema or in the near, a mix of both. You will find out!
If the momentum is real price go with the ema band in direction. It work again and again!
