Hi Guys I have just finished a course on trading but now looking for a good spread betting brokerage to go with can anyone advise me on any good ones in the UK please.

But it's up to you to choose the broker(s) which suits your needs, there's no such thing as one-fits-all and it's wise that you shop around.
Does anyone know if spread betting is tax-free in Australia? On the other hand, CFDs are taxable.

CFDs are mainly for UK and Ireland. In some EU countries, your can't use financial spread betting and have to use CFDs. I think it's the same in Australia.

Quoting this post in reference to FXCM's defense that CFD and Spread-Betting products can be traded on the same platform, where they treat some instruments as futures contracts and some as not, despite the obvious distinctions which completely contradict the account sign-up procedure. according to me, all approach of learning can be useless if there is no regular practice , so we the traders first of all have to make sure the real practice session , otherwise trading life will become hell.

yes , practice is more important i know but it should be in live account with minor balance , generally people always suggest demo account for regular practice but i have seen newcomers dont believe the importance of demo trading at all.

That's so untrue as about 80%-90% of people lose money trading forex.
Forex is an asset class and can be traded through spread betting but it's traded on margin and it makes it a risky endeavour.
